Planning My First Visit

Planning My First Visit To FCC

Will I feel out of place?

OF COURSE NOT!!! When you enter the doors of FCC, you will be warmly welcomed and joyfully accepted. We have new guests almost every week at FCC. Jesus loves you, and so do we!

What about my children?

We provide an unstaffed nursery for the 10:45 worship services. The nursery is available for the 8:30 am service. During the 10:45am worship service, we also provide Wee Worship (ages 2-4) and Kid’s Way Worship (ages 5-4th grade), which allows children to experience worship on their level.

How should I dress?

At FCC, we are not focused on what you wear. Most of those who come to FCC dress in casual attire. In our traditional service, 8:30 am, you will see more formal attire.

What is Communion?

We attempt to follow the example of the early church as found in the book of Acts as closely as possible. We observe the Lord’s Supper weekly because the early church did so (see Acts 2:42, 46 & Acts 20:7). Communion is an important time for all immersed believers in Christ to reflect, repent, renew, and rejoice as we remember Christ’s sacrifice, our own need for a Savior, and His promise to return.

What is Offering?

Giving is a matter between each individual and God. We do not ask visitors to contribute to our tithes and offerings. We believe that God’s church should support God’s work. The money received during offering time is used for the operation of the church locally, for maintenance of the church building, for paying
church staff, and to support a number of missions that are engaged in doing God’s work worldwide.

What is the invitation time?

The invitation time of our service is a time in which a person who wants to become a Christian can come forward and be baptized into Christ. It is also time for any person to come forward for prayers if there is something they want the church to pray for. Also, during this time, a person can become a member of FCC!
