The young people at First Christian Church come from all different backgrounds to form a diverse group of people ready to accept anyone who enters our doors. These youths are a great mix of long-term disciples of Christ who are well-versed in the scriptures and those who have just begun to hear about Jesus. It is an excellent mix of people who are all coming together to share life together. We offer a wide range of activities and ensure everyone feels included. Sometimes when we get together, it is to share a meal together and enjoy each other's company. Other times we spend some time digging deep into God's word and sharing ways to apply it in our everyday routines. Then there are the moments when we stop taking life so seriously and participate in random games like a winter water balloon fight or hide in seek in the dark at a city park. The youth at FCC is always willing to get to know their peers and include them in each week's activities.

We provide a Family Worship room for families with infants and young children who want to use the room. The Family Worship room features privacy glass that allows those in. the room to feel more a part of the worship experience. The Family Worship room is available for both worship services.

FCC Youth Activities

SUNDAY OPPORTUNITIES!

Wee Worship is available on Sunday mornings during our second service worship time (10:45-12:15). Wee Worship is available to children ages 2,3,4! Wee Worship is designed to help the children learn about Jesus on their level.

Kid's Way Worship is available on Sunday mornings during our second service worship time (10:45-12:15). Kid's Way Worship is available to children ages 5 thru 4th grade. Kid's Way Worship is high energy and designed to help the children learn about Jesus on their level.

The Elementary Crew meets from 5-6 pm on Sunday. The Elementary Crew is a high-energy group designed to help the students to get to know Jesus and one anther better. The Elementary Crew is for children in grades 3-6.

Our Jr/Sr High youth group is open to all students in grades 7-12. This group meets from 6-7:30 on Sunday evenings. Our Jr/Sr High group does several activities to help the students not only get to know Jesus in a deeper way but also help the student understand how to apply Biblical principles in their daily lives.

OTHER OPPORTUNITIES!

Our Teen Bible study meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm. Wednesday evening Bible Study is a time when the students unwind and dig deeper into God's Word.

What does L.O.L. stand for? The group name was picked by the young ladies who attend, meaning Ladies Of Laughter. The L.O.L. group meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 6 pm. The LOL Group is hosted by Jewlz Vanderdasson; on meeting nights, Jewlz opens her home to young ladies. The LOL group is for pre-teen girls. At L.O.L. meetings, young ladies will learn or share crafts, make jewelry and other gifts, possibly watch “G” rated movies, sing silly songs, and have wholesome, clean fun with other young ladies. The group is designed to help the young ladies grow in their faith as well as growing closer to one another. We close up every meeting with prayer for any praise or requests the girls' mention. L.O.L. offers a safe, friendly, clean environment for these young ladies. On all nights, snacks, drinks, and sometimes even pizza (if your little lady is allergic to something, please let us know). is provided. Jewlz does take photos but will NEVER post them except to a closed group that only parents can access. The LOL group helps them to connect with other girls along with learning how to stand strong for Jesus.
